Our fully equipped modern workshop is here for all your Bike servicing needs. We are Bosch and Shimano certified service agents.

We service and repair any type or brand of bike, we also offer custom builds for that special project and can package and ship bikes NZ wide.

Workshop Services

Standard Bike Service

Non-eBike - $89.99

eBike - $109.99

Includes:

  • Gear Tune - Set limits, adjust cable tension, chain lube
  • Check hanger alignment
  • Tune Brakes - Set pad position, check pad condition, adjust cables where needed
  • Check tyre condition and pressure - fit tubes where necessary
  • Perform bolt check - including headset, pedals and wheel fasteners
  • Update system (eBike Only)
  • Check errors/print out - by request (eBike Only)

Anything beyond the scope of a standard service you will be contacted by a staff member to discuss unless prior arrangement.

Workshop T&Cs

  • Bikes may incur a storage fee if left longer than 3 days from completion unless prior arrangement.
  • Any additional parts are the property of DC Cycles until paid in full.
  • Bikes that are excessively dirty may be charged a cleaning fee starting at $30
  • Unclaimed items may be sold to cover our costs in accordance with the Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017
  • Our estimates are only an indication of cost and upon inspection we may find issues and our finalised cost may reflect this.
  • DC Cycles is not liable for damage or injury that are unrelated to the services provided.
  • DC Cycles reserves the right to refuse to service any bike that is deemed unfit or unsafe for use. The workshop may perform safety checks, and if any safety concerns are identified, the customer will be notified for approval before additional repairs are carried out.
  • It is the responsibility of the customer to notify staff of any known issues and to notify staff of issues after repair so that we can remedy any issues in a reasonable amount of time.
  • Workshop not available during weekend hours unless by prior arrangement.
  • Workshop runs on a first in first served basis. Call ahead to book a spot.
  • DC Cycles is not responsible for personal effects such as bike bags, bottles etc. It is the customers responsibility to ensure these are present.
  • Customers must ensure key is brought in with bike where applicable. Non-approved E-Bike batteries are not permitted to be stored at DC Cycles under risk of fire.
